Abstract:

A Polish SME is looking for a technology for recycling waste polyurethane foam.The searched technology should make possible practical use of the waste polyurethane foam that makes cold protective insulation in cooling appliances. The partner with experience at this field is sought for a licence agreement, a joint venture agreement or technical cooperation.

Description:

Polyurethane foam is a waste raw material obtained as the last product from the recycling line for cooling devices. It will be stored up in the form of cuts (shavings) in a separate container. Considering the very good insulating characteristics of the foam repeated compaction (pressing) would be used to produce for instance insulating slabs similar to polystyrene slabs, commonly applied for building insulation.
