| Abstract:
A Polish research centre designed sensors for atmospheric
parameters monitoring. The device is dedicated to work in explosion
hazardous areas. Methane and smoke detectors are designed to work in
underground mines. Other sensors are EExia I/IIB T4 approved. They
can be used in chemical, petrochemical and in gas distribution
industries. The company is looking for partners involved in
construction of atmospheric parameters measurement systems.

| Description:
The detector developed by a Polish research centre is an
ionisation device equipped with closed and low-emission isotope
source. The detector's construction ensures operation in conditions
of high humidity, dustiness, temperature and high speed of airflow.
The sensors make a family of devices with the same casing and
advanced unification of electronic circuits. They are characterised
by small dimensions, compact and resistant-to-mechanical-shock
construction and intuitive interface. All sensors are equipped with
alphanumeric display units to present measuring results and to
indicate alarm conditions. They are designed to operate at a
temperature of -10 to +40°C and humidity of 0 to 95%. Measurement
converters are calibrated by means of a built-in keyboard. The
sensors are equipped with analogue output signals of 0.4 - 2V. The
sensors can be completed with standard outputs of 4 - 20mA on user's
request. The solution used in the smoke detector can find
application wherever noxious smoke danger occurs or smoke may signal
the beginning of fire. The system is intrinsically safe and thus can
be used in areas of methane explosion hazard, first of all in
coalmines.
Innovative Aspects: - High accuracy of
measurements and high resistance to disturbing outside factors
effects - Microcontrollers of lower energy consumption for
processing of output signals from transducers
Main
Advantages: - Compact, corrosion and mechanical shock resistant,
construction designed for heavy environment conditions -
