| Abstract:
A Polish IT SME specialised in advanced Internet solutions and complex multimedia productions has developed a system of dynamic generation of vector images for use in the Internet. The technology enables user effective map loading and processing.
The innovation could be exploited in the field of data visualization in multiple branches (i.e. tourism and agriculture).
The company is looking for a partner interested in technical cooperation or commercial agreement with technical assistance.

| Description:
The Polish firm has developed a system of dynamic vector images generation. System is based on Macromedia Flash technology and therefore gives the possibility of convenient images loading, zooming and scrolling. Using multiple layers makes it possible to hide unimportant data and download it to the end-user terminal on user
Innovative Aspects:
Dynamically generated vector map eliminates the weakness of bitmap solutions, such like: slow operation, lack of interactivity, high hardware requirements. Downloaded files can be dynamically extended (using multiple layers) without need to retransmitting the whole image. Vector map in Flash technology has approx. 5-15 times smaller file size. It gives the comfort to the user and allows unlimited server capacity thanks to low bandwidth connection and software requirements.
Main Advantages:
- access to database from each kind of computer - there is no special software requirements for system usage, standard web browser is sufficient
- all modification of images visible in real time
- all information (including graphic details) managed by Internet Explorer
- faster map loading and processing (i.e. zooming and scrolling of downloaded images)
- effective usage of explorer cache due to fast updating of information - the whole map is kept as layers in cache memory, only updated information are loaded (approx. 1-2 Kbytes)
- wide range of market applications
